It indicates a longstanding trend of declining trust in governments and media, with only 61% of people in 21 countries trusting businesses – a rise from 48% in 2012. This increase is partly due to companies focusing on social and environmental causes.
Despite this rise in trust, it's important to remain vigilant. Recall incidents like the Volkswagen emissions scandal, which remind us that even well-regarded businesses can falter. People place equal trust in peers and scientists, yet remain skeptical of established leaders.

OpenAI’s newly launched GPT store on January 10th is going great except for all the dang girlfriend bots that keep appearing. While girlfriend bots are acceptable there are rules they need to follow.
The company bans GPTs “dedicated to fostering romantic companionship”. Don’t worry, The Coffee Badger GPT is not interested in a romantic relationship but you can ask the Coffee Badger what type of coffee you should make for your girlfriend.
