But first a cheesy Sumato Coffee break fiction story ☕️
Olympic runner Sarah sipped her Sumato Coffee before training. The fresh, hand-roasted beans gave her a perfect caffeine boost, enhancing her focus and energy. Each morning, she brewed her coffee using a French press, following Sumato's precise guide for the best flavor. This ritual became her secret weapon, helping her stay alert and perform at her peak during intense workouts and competitions. Fresh Sumato Coffee became as essential as her running shoes.

Job News
At Ramp Talent, we pride ourselves on connecting top talent with exceptional opportunities. This past month of July has been particularly rewarding as we have successfully placed key leaders in critical roles for our valued clients. Join us in welcoming these outstanding professionals to their new positions and discover the exciting opportunities still open for driven candidates.
Our Recent Wins and Challenges Overcome
Revenue Directors in Professional Education and Technical Space:
We are thrilled to announce the placement of two stellar Revenue Directors (Let’s Nicole and Diego!). While it’s too early to share their profiles because they haven’t announced it to their network, I am excited about these candidates.
The challenge here was finding top passive talent who were not actively looking for new roles because the client had set a high bar. Through meticulous headhunting, our sourcing and headhunting efforts (Hat tip to Nathan and Marian!) identified and engaged these individuals, showcasing the exceptional opportunities and growth potential. Partnering closely with the hiring team and the candidates, we successfully negotiated competitive compensation packages that met everyone's expectations.
Director of Operations for a Multi-Million Dollar Construction Client:
Our construction client has gained a powerhouse in operations. This search required us to find a candidate with a unique blend of large-scale project management experience and operational excellence who knows how to build large homes but also can run the finances. The passive talent we identified needed a compelling reason to consider a move. Through persistent engagement and demonstrating the impact they could make, we convinced the right candidate to join. The hiring team and we worked diligently to create an attractive offer, balancing the candidate's expectations with the client's budget.
We have more Opportunities Awaiting…Our success doesn't stop there. Scroll to the bottom of this email to see what else we are working on. We are actively recruiting for several high-impact roles across diverse industries. If you or someone you know is ready to take on a new challenge, hit reply to this email.

Overheard at coffee ☕️
In our previous newsletters, we’ve been following the hunt for Boeing’s new CEO, and the suspense is finally over! Boeing has just announced their new leader: Kelly Ortberg. At 64, this mechanical engineer brings over three decades of expertise in aerospace engineering, defense, and a variety of executive roles.
According to a recent filing, Ortberg is set to receive a long-term incentive award worth a whopping $17.5 million. On top of that, he'll enjoy an annual base salary of $1.5 million, a yearly incentive award target of $3 million, and a cool $1.25 million cash bonus come December.
Boeing typically enforces a mandatory retirement age of 65, but they're making an exception for Ortberg. Clearly, they’re betting big on his ability to steer the company toward a brighter future.
World travelers, rejoice! With Ortberg at the helm, a significant turnaround is on the horizon for Boeing, promising safer skies ahead.
An engineer based in Seattle. It's a start.
"A mechanical engineer, Mr. Ortberg began his career at Texas Instruments in 1983."
"Kelly Ortberg, the new CEO of Boeing has chosen to be based in Seattle."

Recruiting Fails: The Summer Olympics are in full swing in the vibrant heart of Paris, France. While you might not be like that one adventurous hiring manager who jetted off from Ohio to soak up the Olympic magic in person, you're probably tuning into the Fencing Finals from the comfort of your couch.
If cash is your compass, here's a fun fact: you might actually be raking in more dough than many of the awe-inspiring athletes you're cheering for on screen. Thanks to the archaic Rule 40, which has been a buzzkill for years, there's not much gold to be found in Olympic glory. Sure, the household names are swimming in millions, but a whopping 59% of Olympians are pulling in less than $25K annually, and a quarter of them are juggling day jobs just to make ends meet.
So, the next time you feel like a superhero squeezing in a morning jog before clocking in at work, remember this: somewhere out there, an Olympic athlete is probably putting in ten times the training and still showing up for their 9-to-5. Now, that’s dedication!
Here’s the kicker: while businesses and networks are cashing in big time (NBC shelled out a staggering $7.7 billion for the broadcasting rights through 2023), many of those world-class athletes are scraping by as they chase their dreams of Olympic gold.
Something doesn’t quite add up, does it?
US athletes get paid $37k per Olympic gold medal, other nations vary from 1m to zero
imagine training your whole life to get $37k when you could just buy [mybags] today and get have $1m next week
